STEADY YOUR HEART (The Lord Will Protect You Always)
TO THE BIBLE
Proverbs 18:10 AMPC “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong.”
With the emergencies and crises prevalent in these last days, it’s no surprise that many people have lost hope; many wonder if God still cares and protects. Well, He always does; He cares for His children and protects them too! Don’t get troubled by what’s happening in the world today; keep your focus on God’s Word because He already planned your safety ahead of you.
Trust and hold on to God’s Word like never before, for that’s your safety (Isaiah 43:2). He shields and divinely protects you against every onslaught of the enemy. At any time of the day or night, His eyes are upon you, and His angels keep you in all your ways. So, your faith response in every situation should be, “The Lord is for me: He’s with me and in me; therefore, I refuse to fear!”
Psalm 91:3-7 represents God’s sovereign declaration of His commitment to protect and take care of you, even amid all the troubles and crises in the world! It says: “The Lord will keep you safe from secret traps and deadly diseases. He will spread his wings over you and keep you secure. His faithfulness is like a shield or a city wall. You won’t need to worry about dangers at night or arrows during the day.
And you won’t fear diseases that strike in the dark or sudden disaster at noon. You will not be harmed, though thousands fall all around you” (CEV).
Let these words comfort and strengthen you, and cause your heart to remain steady and unmoved, no matter what happens around you.
